Northern Saskatchewan Overview

  • This region is home to the second highest density of nesting bald eagles in North America
  • There are so many lakes in this region that you could literally fish a different lake every day for 270 years before running out!
  • The Prince Albert National Park’s Nature Centre teaches about Aboriginal culture, and about the famous conservationist Grey Owl who once had a cabin in the woods and built a special relationship with the wildlife in the area.
